The 10 Most Common Sex Questions

One of the most popular features on The Psychology of Human Sexuality is Sex Question Friday, in which I answer readers’ questions about sex, love, and relationships. The sheer number of questions that have come into the site to date is incredible and I continue to do my best to answer as many as I can; however, I have noticed that some of the same questions get asked time and again as new readers discover the site. In light of this, I thought it would be worthwhile to run a list of the ten most common sex questions (with links to the answers) that have made their way to my inbox. Keep sending in your questions, and remember: knowledge is power…and pleasure!

10. What percentage of the population is gay?

9. Is it really possible for women to have multiple orgasms?

8. How many sexual partners do people usually have in their lives?

7. How can I last longer in bed?

6. Is female ejaculation real?

5. I want more/less sex than my partner. How do we save our relationship?

4. What’s the best sexual position?

3. Why do some people have fetishes or other unusual sexual interests?

2. What is the average penis size?

1. Do women really care about penis size? And is deeper penetration better?
